Kennedy & Co. is new. The work behind it is not.
Twenty years. Fifteen hundred leaders. One conviction: organizations rise or fall on the quality of the people leading them.

Shanna Kennedy
Founder & CEO
Shanna Kennedy is a leadership strategist and executive coach who has spent more than two decades building leaders inside the organizations that need them most.
Her career has moved across sectors that rarely talk to one another, nonprofit leadership, workforce development, higher education, healthcare, corporate partnerships, and organizational strategy. That range is not an accident. It's the reason The Room Method™ works in a hospital, a university, and a community foundation alike.
She has designed and led national leadership development initiatives. She has served as Director of a Senior Executive Leadership Fellowship, Managing Director in higher education, to even a Regional Healthcare Workforce Development Director. She has sat on both sides of the table, building leadership programs from inside organizations, and now building them for organizations.
What she kept seeing, in every sector, was the same obstacles : organizations promoting people into rooms they were not prepared to lead, and then acting surprised when it didn't work.
Kennedy & Co. Leadership exists to close that gap.

How we think about leadership development.
Identity before capability.
Most leadership training starts with skills. We start with who a leader is becoming, because a leader who hasn't decided who they are will imitate whoever is loudest in the room.
Reflection before instruction.
We don't lecture leaders. We put a question in front of them and give them the space to answer it honestly. The answer is the curriculum.
Transformation over information.
A leader who leaves with twelve new frameworks and no change in behavior has learned nothing. We measure what changed, not what was covered.
Practice in the real room.
Every Kennedy & Co. experience sends leaders back into their actual workplace with something to try, someone to try it on, and a place to bring back what happened.
Let's talk about the leaders you're building.
A Leadership Strategy Conversation is a thirty-minute conversation about your organization, not a sales call. We'll talk about where your leadership gaps are, what's driving them, and whether we're the right partner to help. If we're not, we'll tell you that too.
